Checked. Fixed. Verified.
We book, complete and report the mandatory electrical, gas and smoke alarm safety checks and rental minimum standards checks for Victorian rental properties, then take care of the repairs and maintenance, so property managers and landlords stay compliant without chasing tradespeople.
Since 13 October 2026, 2-yearly gas and electrical checks apply to every Victorian rental agreement, and rental providers must keep records showing the property meets the minimum standards.
Our services
Safety checks are carried out by licensed tradespeople, and every check comes with a signed report you can keep on file and give to renters.
Electrical safety checks
Switchboard, wiring, power points, lighting and fixed appliances inspected and tested to AS/NZS 3019, including RCD (safety switch) testing.
Gas safety checks
Leak testing, ventilation, flues and clearances checked, and every Type A gas appliance serviced to AS 4575 by a licensed gasfitter.
Smoke alarm checks
Every alarm tested to the manufacturer's instructions, batteries replaced, and expired or faulty alarms replaced — 240V alarms by a licensed electrician.
Rental minimum standards checks
All 15 Victorian rental minimum standards checked and recorded with photos — locks, heating, kitchen, bathroom, mould and damp, ventilation, window coverings and more — so you have the record the law now requires.
Repairs and maintenance
Defects found in a check are quoted line by line and fixed once approved. We also handle everyday electrical, plumbing and gas maintenance for your rentals, all certified as required.
How it works
Book
Call or email with the property address, access details and the checks you need.
We check
We attend at the booked time, with a licensed electrician or gasfitter for safety checks. We confirm access with the renter beforehand.
You get the report
A signed report with results, photos and any defects numbered and quoted. Anything dangerous is reported to you the same day.
We remind you
We track every property's due dates and get in touch before the next check is due.
Why property managers use Verified
One contact for every safety check and the maintenance that follows, with the paperwork done properly.
Licensed tradespeople
Registered electrical contractors, and gasfitters licensed for Type A appliance servicing.
Reports that meet the rules
Each report records what the Residential Tenancies Regulations 2021 require you to keep and disclose.
Found it, fixed it
Every defect has a reference number that carries through to the quote, the repair and the invoice, so you can see exactly what was fixed.
Nothing falls through
We keep track of every due date, so checks are booked before they lapse.
